In these challenging times, our networking evenings are a unique opportunity for local networks to connect, for alliances to develop and thrive. Promoting job creation and best practice, we want to celebrate all the brilliant content Birmingham has produced, and champion the local talent and businesses essential in creating a vibrant production hub in the West Midlands of England.

Filming in England is part of Creative UK Group. Our Filming in England team are the first port of call for productions looking to film in England, outside of London. Funded by the BFI, our national team offer free comprehensive production support to feature film and high-end TV. Working alongside our Film Office partners and our Regional and National networks, we are on hand to help at every stage of production, from early feasibility to post.

Create Central is a private sector trade body that brings together some of the region’s most successful TV, film, games and wider creative content business leaders. Through Create Central they work with national and regional partners to create an agile and responsive network to turbo-charge the creative content sector in the heart of the UK.

Film Birmingham is Birmingham City Council’s Film and Television office. They are committed to making filming in the West Midlands as easy and efficient as possible by providing a one-stop shop for filmmakers’ production needs. The team handles a wide range of queries from international and domestic productions and work closely with them to find locations and crew across the region and offer a comprehensive range of services to help them meet their requirements.
