Premieres

Birmingham is a well-connected and versatile location for red carpet events, gala screenings and premieres and Film Birmingham can assist you in delivering a first-class event.

Here’s some examples of recent high profile events we’ve helped to facilitate:

LOCKE

Lead actor Tom Hardy and Director Steven Knight were among the stars to grace the red carpet at the UK premiere of Locke. Fans lined Broad Street in central Birmingham ahead of the gala screening at Cineworld.

PEAKY BLINDERS

Cillian Murphy, Aidan Gillen and Helen McCrory were among the stars attending the Birmingham premiere of Peaky Blinders Season 4. Local set designer Annabelle Bevan dressed the red carpet for this exclusive event.

NOT IN VAIN

Birmingham hosted the UK premiere of Not in Vain – a fly on the wall documentary exploring the Miss Universe Great Britain competition. The film is the directorial debut of local filmmaker Natalie Ann Cutler.

YOU, ME & HIM

David Tennant and the stars of British comedy drama You, Me & Him attended a charity gala screening in aid of Baby Lineline’s ‘Monitoring for Mums’ appeal at Cineworld Broad Street.

BIRMINGHAM INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL

The fourth edition of Birmingham Indian Film Festival offered an entertaining and thought-provoking line-up of independent films at three venues across Birmingham – Cineworld Broad Street, MAC and the Mockingbird in Digbeth.
