August 18, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Friends of Cotteridge Park, Stirchley Cinema, and Flatpack invite you to join us in Cotteridge Park for a screening of Wes Anderson’s stop-motion animation film, Isle of Dogs!
When all the dogs of Megasaki City are exiled to Trash Island, 12-year-old Atari sets off alone in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
Oscar-nominated and with an all-star cast, it’s one of Wes Anderson’s finest and suitable for all ages.
Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund this is a free screening.
The “doors open” from 7pm – bring a picnic and a blanket to sit on.
The film starts at dusk – about 8.30pm – and ends at 10ish
