BritAsia TV, UK’s biggest broadcast channel for Brit Asians, with 15 years of broadcast experience reaching more than 1.5 million users. With a vision to bring high-quality training to users across the UK, BritAsia TV started the BritAsia Academy.
They are now a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) member and an existing delivery provider of excellent film, content, and social media training under their various bootcamps.
Digital Upskill Bootcamp
You can choose between two courses; TV & Film Production and Upskill Your Business Idea.
TV & Film Production (3 months – part time)
Do you have a passion for media? Or maybe you’ve just finished university and looking to step into the industry but you lack of real practical experience?
They are a well connected platform that prioritises innovation and making a difference. During the bootcamps you will learn industry standard best practice and work on live briefs with the opportunity to include what you produce in your portfolio.
Upskill Your Business Idea (3 months – part time)
Do you have a business idea but not sure how to develop it? Their bootcamp will provide your with the right knowledge and skills to turn your idea into something real.
The course includes business training and development and is attached to the ‘Pitch It’ event which has links to individuals such as Ray Chohan (founder of PatSnap), Joe Sekhon (founder of IPass) and partnerships with the Birmingham LEP, Birmingham Growth Hub, HSBC and more.

Commitment?
The recruited will train for 8-12 weeks, 24 hours per week with a commitment of 2-3 days per week depending on the program.
Time?
They run the bootcamp every month and recruit new students every 3 weeks for the following round.
Venue?
The course will be delivered at the BritAsia TV office, in Birmingham city centre. They will make sure to run the bootcamp in safely for everyone, following covid proof procedures. The studio address is BritAsia TV Network, 158 Broad St, Birmingham, West-Midlands, B15 1DT.
