An Evening With Sophie Turner

Playbox Theatre invite you to a very special event at The Dream Factory this Summer.

SOPHIE TURNER in conversation with LENA DE CASPARIS, Associate Editor and Culture Director of ELLE MAGAZINE.

Actress Sophie Turner returns to Playbox Theatre to talk to us about her career, in a special one-afternoon event, in aid of Playbox’s ‘Raise The Roof Campaign’, to support the restoration of The Dream Factory’s roof.

Sophie will be in conversation with Elle magazine’s Lena de Casparis and this will form the centrepiece of a dynamic evening of discussion.

Sophie was a member of Playbox from the age of 3, and remained with us even as her Game Of Thrones schedule became busier. Sophie was a treasured part of our Acting, Circus & Dance departments, and performed on stage at The Dream Factory in a number of productions. Whilst her career took her all over the world, Sophie has remained a loyal and highly valued part of the Playbox World, and is now Playbox Ambassador, supporting us whenever she can.

We are thrilled to welcome her ‘home’ and we are very grateful to Sophie for supporting our fundraising, and helping to ensure that The Dream Factory remains a place where young people can thrive for generations to come, as she did many years ago.

This special evening will include a pre-event barbecue, and will be followed by sparkling wine and canapes, alongside an in conversation with Sophie and Lena.

We hope that you will join us for a very special celebration and to hear more about Sophie’s time at Playbox, and her extensive work in film and television since, all within the surround of the theatre where it all began!
