Film Birmingham are proud to announce the launch of our brand new short film night – ShortFuse. It will be an opportunity for short filmmakers in the West Midlands to showcase their work on the big screen. They can also invite their peers and supporters to attend for free. We will announce our special host very shortly. The first ShortFuse event will take place on Tuesday 28 May 2019, 6.30-9.30pm. It will be held at Mockingbird Cinema, The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Birmingham B9 4AA. This film night will take place on the last Tuesday of every second month – the next date being Tuesday 30th July 2019.
If you are interested to submit your film to ShortFuse please email shortfuse@filmbirmingham.co.uk with a screening link to your short film, as well as a short bio and synopsis. All films must be under 30 minutes. Please note the screening is free to attend for your invited guests but there will be a £25 screening fee for each film selected.
The deadline for ShortFuse is Friday 19th April.
