TV Preview: Boiling Point + Q&A

Join us for a special Square Eyes preview event featuring the first episode of Philip Barantini’s small screen adaptation of his acclaimed, single-shot restaurant drama for the BBC.
The 2021 feature Boiling Point was met with huge critical acclaim and nominated for over 30 international awards in multiple categories, including four BAFTA nominations. Reuniting the film’s co-writer and director Philip Barantini alongside many of the original cast, the series picks up six months after the end of the film. Sous chef Carly is now head chef at her own restaurant in Dalston, with many of Andy’s original team working alongside her – but as the pressure mounts, Carly begins to feel the magnitude of responsibility that comes with running her own place.
The screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with director Philip Barantini and actors Stephen Graham and Hannah Walters.*
