Rudy – Screening

Midlands filmmaker Shona Auerbach presents her new feature Rudy, a poignant insight into love, loss and moving on. Stuck as a proxy parent to her younger siblings and dealing with a recent loss, the titular Rudy feels increasingly pushed out when her home gets opened up to a paying guest. Through a newfound friendship with a boy from Coventry, she discovers fun, freedom and autonomy, but is it at the sacrifice of unspoken family wounds?
Screening in 24th and 28th June. The screening on Saturday 24th June will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with director Shona Auerbach.
