Are you looking to secure BFI film funding to produce your own film? BFI Network and The Producers’ Forum are hosting an event in Birmingham that might help you on your way.

For filmmakers, securing funding to produce their vision can be one of the most challenging parts of the job. Understanding what funders want to see? Even more so. On Thursday, January 24, BFI Network and The Producers’ Forum will be hosting a screening and discussion. This will be held at The Mockingbird Cinema and Kitchen, Gibb Street, B9 4AA from 17:30 until 19:00. (Add to Calendar)

This screening and Q&A offers Midlands talent the chance to see the work of their peers and work out where their own original voice can find a place in a competitive funding landscape. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with BFI NETWORK Talent Executive for the Midlands, Alexzandra Jackson, who will answer any questions on the two NETWORK funds. She will also give some tips on applying for BFI film funding. Further networking and conversation will then take place in the bar.
