The Royal Television Society Midlands Centre is launching its first ever Careers Fair this autumn and it’s going to be HUGE, so don’t miss your chance to be part of it!

If you are 16-24 and you are interested in working in the broadcasting industry, this is a must-attend event. It takes place on Tuesday 16 October 2018 at Edgbaston Stadium and will offer all the latest tips, tricks and practical advice to help you land that all important first job in broadcasting.

Get your CV tweaked by professionals, learn about the different jobs and schemes out there, have a go at presenting, network with the most influential creatives in the business and much much more!

This is your opportunity to hear from the best in the business from some of the highest profile shows on television from The X Factor to Blue Planet II and Britain’s Got Talent; to radio stations Radio 1, 1Xtra and the Asian Network. Not only that, you will be able to have a go at presenting and to film a scene with BBC One’s Doctors.

Our Careers Fair will provide the best industry advice, practical workshops, inspiring masterclasses and unparalled networking with key employers, independent production companies, broadcasters and universities all out in force on the day.

Ticket price:

  • Early Bird tickets £6 (maximum of 300 EB tickets are available – book early to get your tickets at this rate)
  • £10 per general admission ticket (once the Early Bird tickets are sold)
  • Group bookings £5 per person

All tickets are non-refundable.Tickets for full members of the Royal Television Society are complimentary but MUST be booked in advance – please provide your membership number when booking. This event is open to everyone but is designed for those with no more than two years’ television experience.
