What better way to celebrate the films 50th anniversary than an open air screening at the historic Dudley Castle?\nThe film\nAfter receiving a personal letter informing him of the disappearance of a young girl\, a Police Sergeant flies to a remote Scottish island to investigate\, only to find a strange\, isolated community who uniformly insist that the girl never existed. Stranger still are the rites that take place there. \nYou might already know the drill with Beware the Moon events by now\, but in case you need a reminder – there will be hot food\, a licensed bar\, mood-lighting & special effects\, and a surprise or two thrown in for good measure. Don’t forget to bring along a chair and/or a blanket. \nThe screening is part of a Beware the Moon double bill\, with Jaws screening on Friday 4 August. \nFAQS\nHow do I gain access to the event?\nEntrance to the event will be via Dudley College Car Park\, The Broadway\, Dudley\, DY1 4AS\, from 7.30 pm. Last admission on site will be 9 pm. \nWhere can I park?\nPlease note parking is not available either at the Castle or on The Fellows pub car park for this event. Please do NOT park on The Fellows pub as they have ANPR cameras in place and you will get fined! \nPlease park on Dudley College’s car park (situated off the The Broadway\, DY1 4AS) which will be open from 7.30 pm. Car parking is included in your event cost. Please note the car park is an approximate 10 minute walk away from the event. Please advise staff in advance of any access needs and we can plan an alternative route. Please note this car park will close 30 minutes after the film finishes. Last admission on site will be 9 pm. \nWhere can I park?\nPlease note parking is not available either at the Castle or on The Fellows pub car park for this event. Please do NOT park on The Fellows pub as they have ANPR cameras in place and you will get fined! \nPlease park on Dudley College’s car park (situated off the The Broadway\, DY1 4AS) which will be open from 7.30 pm. Car parking is included in your event cost. Please note the car park is an approximate 10 minute walk away from the event. Please advise staff in advance of any access needs and we can plan an alternative route. Please note this car park will close 30 minutes after the film finishes. There are other car parks available to this entrance\, however these are NOT operated by DZC and we cannot be held responsible for availability or charges. \nHow do I get there via public transport?\nDudley Bus Station is 2 minutes walk from the entrance via Fellows Pub car park.\nRail: Dudley Port Station 3 miles / Sandwell & Dudley Station 5 miles. Frequent bus service to Dudley from Dudley Port station. \nWhat should I bring with me?\nPlease bring your booking confirmation ticket with you on the evening for admission purposes. This can be shown on your mobile phone. All guests listed on your ticket must arrive together. All concessionary ticket holders will also need to present proof of concession status. We advise guests to bring a torch with them as areas of the Zoo can be a little dark when you leave. We also advise sensible footwear to be worn and suitable clothing for the weather. Seating will not be provided so please bring picnic blankets and/or camping chairs. Tents are not allowed. \nWhat time does it start?\nDoors open at 7.30 pm and we kick off with music\, followed by shorts at 9pm and the main feature at approximately 9.15 pm (sunset permitting). \nWhat time does it finish?\nThe event is expected to finish around 11.30 pm and guests should also exit the site via the same gates back to Dudley College’s Car Park. \nWhat happens if it rains?\nThe event will go ahead whatever the weather. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-EXCHANGEABLE. \nWill there be food and drink available to buy?\nRefreshments will be available to purchase during the evening.
