DESCRIPTION:In January\, our Founder Tobi Oredein wrote a Founder’s Letter titled “Why Riches Are the Glamour\, Glitz\, and Black Drama We Deserve.” The show follows a British-Nigerian family running a multimillion-pound empire. It’s slick\, sexy\, and the right blend of drama\, scandal\, and humour in the right places. \nIt is the type of show that you *need* to watch with family or friends\, and the type of show you can watch more than once. So\, to celebrate Riches airing weekly on ITV1 from Friday 30th June at 9pm\, we’ve decided to organise a screening of the first episode at ODEON Luxe in Birmingham. \n*** \nLocation: ODEON Luxe\, Birmingham Broadway Plaza \nDate: Tuesday 27th June \nTime: 6.30 PM \n*** \nThis event is FREE for members. DESCRIPTION:This course is part of Relationships on Film\, a series of short learning experiences to support sex and relationships education.  \nWith intimate relationships coming in all different shapes and sizes\, how can we teach young people to recognise the difference between healthy and harmful relationship behaviours?   \nDesigned in partnership with the leading sexual health and wellbeing charity\, Brook\, this course provides practical and engaging film-based teaching ideas to support educators of 11–16-year-olds in exploring the traits of healthy relationships. Through our curated selection of film content\, you’ll learn how to discuss the sex and relationships issues facing young people today using a medium that is both familiar and relatable.    \nAlong the way\, you’ll gain access to a range of materials to enhance your teaching including ready-to-use lessons and resources\, professional short and youth-made films\, as well as feature-length content available to stream on Into Film+.   \nAs part of this course series\, we are also offering a free live webinar\, focused on teaching about sex and relationships in a digital context. In addition to accessing exclusive content\, not available as part of the courses\, this session is a chance to ask questions to course experts and share ideas with educators across the UK.     \nThe webinar will be held on:   \nThursday 22 June 2023 at 4:00pm – Relationships on Film: Let’s Get Digital \nA Welsh language webinar to accompany this course series will also run on Tuesday 4 July 2023.
