DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next Screen & Share event in May! \nWe’re inviting our network members and anyone else interested in joining the network to join us at the Mockingbird Cinema to catch up\, screen any work they’d like to share and update each other what you’re up to. \nWe’d love to see what you’ve been working on so email Cassie at byfn.contact@gmail.com if you’re interested in screening your work. \n\n5.30pm – Arrivals\n6.00pm – Opportunities & Updates\n6.30pm – Screening\n7.30pm – Networking\n8pm – Cinema – Challengers/Love Lies Bleeding (Optional)\n\nWe want young people (16-25 years old) who want to meet like minded people to give themselves the opportunity to create and grow. We want to help foster a strong filmmaking community with the aim of helping each other to realise their potential. \nOur meetings include: \n\nShare information about opportunities\nA space to showcase your work and receive feedback\nDeliver information/workshops that are helpful to young filmmakers\nA space to network with other young creatives with the aim of fostering collaboration\nHear from you about what support you want/need\n\nWho we want to meet \nThis is for 16-25 year olds from Birmingham who want to gain experience and knowledge about filmmaking or wants to meet like minded and motivated young people. You may have a role in mind or you may want to explore your options. \n\nDirectors\nScreenwriters\nEditors\nProducers\nActors\nCamera operators/Cinematographers\nMusicians/Music producers\nStylists\nMake up artists\nAnd any other enthusiastic and motivated people!\n\nNote: we will also be taking photos and/or videos at the event. Please inform us ahead of the event or upon arrival if you do not wish for your photo to be taken.
