SUMMARY:Borderlines Film Festival 2024
DESCRIPTION:2024 promises to be our biggest edition ever with a huge array of world and independent cinema on the Big Screen at 23 independent venues spread across Herefordshire\, Shropshire\, Malvern and the Welsh Borders. \nOur fabulous venues offer a wide range of viewing experiences\, and with more than 68 titles to choose from\, you can get into the full festival feel by immersing yourself in cinema over 17 days. As ever\, we thank our venue partners\, The Courtyard Hereford\, Malvern Theatres\, Ludlow Assembly Rooms\, Kinokulture Cinema\, Richard Booths Bookshop cinema in Hay-on-Wye\, and we are delighted to welcome back multi-arts centre The Regal Tenbury Wells\, housed in a beautiful art deco cinema initially opened in 1937. Flicks in the Sticks and their network of village hall and market town venues provide unique experiences\, bringing world class cinema directly to their local rural communities. \nNone of this would be possible without the enthusiasm of our audiences and the continued support of our funders: the BFI awarding funds from the National Lottery\, The Elmley Foundation\, and Hereford City Council. SUMMARY:Reel & Meal: Napoleon Dynamite
DESCRIPTION:Cult movies don’t come any more cult than this 2004 indie comedy\, following the curious life of teenage misfit Napoleon (Jon Heder)\, who spends his days fighting with his brother Kip and avoiding his Uncle Rico. \nOur Reel and Meal event will offer a menu inspired by this wonderfully weird film\, so think quesadillas and tater tots.\n\nPlease note: there will be no ads or trailers before the film begins at 8.30pm. \n\n\nPlease be seated in KILN by 7pm for your meal. On the booking path\, please select the cinema tickets you want and the preferred food options. Select one option per person. \nNo vegan or gluten free options are available for this event. Please let us know of any allergies in advance by contacting us via info@macbirmingham.co.uk. \n\n\n\n\nDuration includes trailers and adverts. For events such as NT Live\, Colour Box and Reel & Meal there will be minimal advertising. We do not admit latecomers after the main feature has started and we have a limited food & drink policy.
