DESCRIPTION:Join Artist Sarah Hamilton Baker on a sensory journey through film. In these relaxed screenings you will be invited to touch\, smell and feel your way through the films! \nWe have three months of exciting short films curated by Flatpack Projects and funded by The Active Wellbeing Society to get your eyes popping and your body moving. \nGet up and go! This selection is all about the impulse to move\, as we bounce along with Hop Frog  and feel the breeze as we zoom with Cycle in this fun packed film screening. \nWho’s it for?\nPeople of all ages are welcome but most suited for ages 3-12 years. \nAccess\nThese relaxed screenings will contain subtitles and Sarah will introduce a range of ‘Objects of Reference’ for throughout each film. \nBSL interpreter available\nScreening lasts approximately 45-50 mins \nPlease arrive 15 min early so that you can pay for your ticket at reception. \nThere are 3 slots available: \n\n10:00am\n11:30am\n1:30pm

SUMMARY:How to apply for Arts Council England funding
DESCRIPTION:Arts Council England gives funding to support creativity and culture across England. \nNational Lottery Project Grants  is a fund for creative individuals and organisations in England who want funding for a project. It is open to everyone and you can apply at any time. These grants usually range from £1\,000 to £100\,000. \nThis free event introducing Arts Council Project Grants is ideal for creative people and organisations who have not applied for Arts Council funding before and are based within the Black Country\, although if you have applied before you are still welcome to attend. \nSpecifically\, we look forward to meeting those from lower socio-economic backgrounds\, D/deaf or disabled people\, LGBTQIA+ people\, and those from the Global Majority\, who have traditionally had least access to our resources. \nLed by Relationship Managers from the Midlands team in collaboration with Creative Black Country\, this event will take you through the process of applying for National Lottery Project Grants\, followed by a 45-minute question and answer session. \nThe event will be held in person and will cover: \n• Access Support \n• Arts Council strategy\, Let’s Create \n• National Lottery Project Grant application guidance \n• The application form \n• The decision-making process \n• How to contact us \nThere will be British Sign Language interpretation during the event. \nIf you have any questions about the event or any access request\, please contact Faye Read via faye.read@artscouncil.org.uk by Friday 7th July. \nSign up for your place today.
