This year, Birmingham is set to welcome millions of visitors from around the globe, and in true Birmingham style, we’ll be celebrating our city, its people and its places.

From 28 July-8 August 2022, the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is set to be the UK’s biggest sporting event since London 2012. Above and beyond the Games, a six-month long cultural programme known as the Birmingham 2022 festival is taking place across Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands. It is set to be the biggest creative festival produced in the area, and with over 200 events, from acrobats to time travelling trains. It is set to be the biggest and boldest summer of celebration.
