Birmingham Film Festival are delighted to welcome Sindy Campbell of Film Birmingham as an ambassador. Sindy has played an active role in the growth of Birmingham Film Festival and has been instrumental to its success from day one.
About Film Birmingham
Film Birmingham, is fast becoming a prime location for international filmmakers and is responsible for bringing big names into the city. Iconic Film Director Steven Spielberg’s “Ready Player One” – for example. Film Birmingham is Birmingham City Council’s Film and Television office. It commits to making filming as easy and efficient as possible, so it provides a one-stop shop for local and international filmmakers.
Sindy Campbell commented “I am proud to be an ambassador for the Birmingham Film Festival. Film Birmingham actively support the wealth of creative talent here in the West Midlands and BFF is a great platform for local talent to showcase their work. We’re excited to see this year’s line-up of films from Birmingham and beyond!”
About the Festival
Birmingham Film Festival, now in its fourth year, is one of the largest events outside of London helping to put Birmingham on the international map. The festival has already attracted major names including Birmingham born Nick Rhodes of legendary 80’s band Duran Duran. Rhodes won an award for best music score for the movie “Intruders” in 2018.
The festival returns to the Millennium Point this year and runs from 1st – 10th November. Along with complimentary film screenings, the festival will also host a series of seminars delivered by local industry experts. The week will conclude with an Oscars-style awards gala, also attended by a host of celebrity guests.
