Applications are now open for two programmes, taking place in London between July and early September 2017.

Returning for its sixth year is our 3-week Directing Summer School Udayan Prasad (29 July – 18 Aug), followed by the 2-week First Film Summer School Jonas Grimås (20 Aug – 2 Sep).

Aimed respectively at those with some prior filmmaking experience, and those who are just starting out, both courses offer each participant the opportunity to write, direct and edit their own short film with a professional cast and crew. In addition participants will gain vital experience of a number of on-set roles, including gaffer, clapper loader, first AD…and even, actor!

Just twelve places are available for each programme. Anyone aged 18+ years can apply. Offers will be made from mid March, with priority given to those who apply by Tuesday 28th February 2017.
