Creative England is pleased to issue a fixed-term call for submissions to the Advantage Media Production Fund (AMPF). Through this call, a total of £450,000 is available for investment into the production of feature films of all genres, including documentaries, to be produced or co-produced by companies based in the West Midlands.
The AMPF was set up in 2007 to support the development of the West Midlands as an economic hub for filmmaking in the UK. It is financed through a combination of European Regional Development Funding (ERDF), UK Government-sponsored regional development funding and recoupment from the earlier West Midlands Production Fund.
Originally managed by Screen West Midlands, operational control of the AMPF was transferred to Creative England in 2011.
This call is only open to feature films and not projects primarily intended for television, short films or games. Equity investments will be between £50,000 and £150,000. The Fund can only accept submissions from companies who have been actively trading for six months or more and have a permanently staffed base in the West Midlands.
Full guidelines can be downloaded from the Creative England website.
The deadline for submissions is noon on Friday 8th June 2012.
