Looking to launch your career in film and TV drama locations?

The Production Guild has launched a three-day intensive course to help prepare you for working within the locations department in the film and TV industry. Taking place on 2nd – 4th November in Leeds, you will be given a unique insight into what it takes to be a valuable member of the location team.

From the creative beginnings to the logistical and detailed planning of the shoot, you will be shown how the location department is essential to the filmmaking process. If you wish to work in locations, this course will enable you to start working on productions equipped with processes, etiquette and knowledge required. Over the three days you will be guided by respected and established film and television personnel, who can help you to focus your ambition and expectations.

The course will be led by award-winning location manager, Harriet Lawrence, whose work includes Downton Abbey and Suffragette.
