Film Birmingham - Office Closed for Christmas Holidays

Film Birmingham is now closed for the Christmas period and will re-open Wednesday 4th January 2012 at 9.30am.

To gain permission to film in Birmingham during this period, please contact the relevant Birmingham City Council department directly. The contact numbers for these are listed below. For filming over this period, each department may have their own requirements and/or restrictions (particularly as a result of weather conditions and/or other events taking place in the city) – but for guidance on the sort of information they will require before granting permission, you can look at Film Birmingham’s Filming Request Form and Code of Practice documents which are available to download from www.filmbirmingham.co.uk.

You will also be required to provide a copy of your Public Liaibility Insurance – which must be for a minimum of £5 million in cover. For any filming in public places you must also inform the local police.

For any filming in the new year, please complete a filming request form, we will process your request as soon as we return in the new year.
