Film: 21st Century Literacy

Posted on 2 April 2011

Film: 21st Century Literacy would like to invite you to an event we are holding for professionals who work with young people in schools or communities in the West Midlands region. The event is for anyone who is interested in learning more about how film can be used to improve literacy and enhance learning and development for children between the ages of three and 19.

The event will run from 10am – 3:30pm on May 12th at the Light House in Wolverhampton, and is being run in conjunction with Screen WM. There will be opportunities to learn and also to network with other professionals and organisations from the region, and will feature speakers from Screen WM, First Light Movies and Media Education Wales, plus talks from education professionals in the region who have had success in using film with young people.

Please visit our event page for more information and to register – http://filmliteracywm.eventbrite.com/ , or email “ruth@21stcenturyliteracy.org.uk“mailto:ruth@21stcenturyliteracy.org.uk for more details.
