Running from 21st October – 8th November, the National Youth Film Festival provides free screenings, Q&As and workshops for young people across the UK.

It also feature its very own Awards and they’re on the look-out for your short films.

If you’re aged 5 – 19, you can submit a film about what your area means to you via the website.

Films entered into this category also have the chance to be featured within your local newspaper website as Johnston Press has teamed up with the Festival and will show the best films on their sites.

All Shorts

Films of up to 10 minutes in length can be submitted into this category – on any topic at all.
