Half of a Yellow Sun is the debut direction by acclaimed writer Biyi Bandele, adapted from the Nigerian novel of the same name. The film is a love story following two sisters caught up in the Nigerian Civil War, and was premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Plus Q & A.
