Will Virtual Reality be the future of Broadcast TV?

Speaker: Edward Miller

Immersiv.ly is a studio making and selling editorial content in virtual reality, specialising in immersive, interactive narratives where the user gains a special feeling of personal agency and involvement.

For our April event, Edward Miller, Head of Visuals, presented some of their work in the area of digital applications for Medical Healthcare. At this month’s Creative Networks, Edward will be showing more of Immersiv.ly’s 360 degree videos, such as the documentary they made about the 2014 pro-democracy demonstrations in Hong Kong. Using a Chrome browser on desktop or the YouTube app on Android devices, this can be watched by clicking and dragging to change the angle of view.

Join us at our free event to see and hear more about new ways of producing video for storytelling and news – in virtual reality. Welcome to the heart of the action. www.immersiv.ly
