New British Cinema Quarterly is a new programme of distinctive and original films from British filmmakers. Selected from the UK’s major film festivals, a new film is screened each quarter and accompanied by a Q&A from the filmmakers involved. NBCQ showcases and celebrates Britain’s film craft, providing opportunities for audiences around the UK to discover new films and hear directly from the talent behind the camera.
Edward Fletcher is joint Managing Director of Soda Pictures film distributors which he co-founded along with Eve Gabereau in 2002. Soda is now a fixture in the independent distribution market; releases in 2012 include TWO YEARS AT SEA, MONSIEUR LAHZAR, WOODY ALLEN: A DOCUMENTARY and BARBARA. Soda also runs the New British Cinema distribution programme NBCQ, now in its fourth year. Prior to Soda, Edward managed the distribution arm of the ICA and managed cinemas in Cambridge and London. Edward holds an M.A. in Film and Television Studies and currently sits on the board of Film London and Europa Distribution.
