Drew Roper is a multi-award winning stop-motion animator from Walsall, with industry experience ranging from small budget productions such as The Sun’s The Sun on Sunday (2012) and Yamination Studios’ short film At-issue (2014) to Children’s TV Series such as Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep (2012). He’s also worked on Hollywood blockbusters such as 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) directed by Wes Anderson and Walt Disney’s Frankenweenie (2012) directed by Tim Burton.

Drew now runs his own animation studio, Yamination Studios, based in Birmingham’s Custard Factory, where he’s working on short films, promos and TV Ads that include brands such as Coca-Cola, Cravendale and Sky Arts. The studio specialises in set building and model making that also offers additional aspects of production from design right through to storyboarding and editing.

Creative Networks brings together all parties involved in screen and sound media in the West Midlands, promoting both successful business development and collaboration.
