Applications are now open for organisations to apply to deliver courses for the BFI Film Academy scheme. The BFI is seeking to appoint professional, creative, experienced organisations in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The BFI Film Academy provides opportunities for talented and committed young people between the ages of 16–19 to develop new skills and build a career in the film industry, no matter where they live or what their background. The BFI Film Academy forms part of the BFI’s overall 5-19 Education scheme.
The programme is being supported by the Department for Education in England, who have committed £1m per year funding from April 2012 to 31 March 2015, and by the National Lottery.
Further information on the BFI Film Academy and details of how to make an application can be found on the BFI website.
