Alpha-ville welcome submissions that represent, discuss and play upon the transition from digital to post-digital culture. Open to artists working across all genres including animation (2D, 3D, stop-frame, CGI, motion graphics, etc), fiction, documentary and experimental cinema. The final selections will be screened as part of Alpha-Ville Festival’s film programme, in East London, 22-25 September 2011. Alpha-ville is an annual festival that operates as an online and live platform for creativity, innovation and forward thinking, exploring the intersection between arts, technology and society. Running from 22-25 September, the 2011 edition presents social media and interactive art, open labs, meet-ups, talks, workshops, screenings, live music, AV performances and a one-day Symposium on Post-digital culture. The theme for the 2011 installment is ‘Zeitgeist’.
